Noel Murray Los Angeles Times Very little about this movie feels fresh or original; but a talented cast, a solid Alex Carl script, and director Andy Palmer's energetic pace and playful tone do make "Camp Cold Brook" unusually fun. Feb 13, 2020 Full Review Ron Wilkinson It's Just Movies Come to camp but skip the swim lessons. Rated: 7/10 Mar 12, 2020 Full Review Sarah Musnicky Nightmarish Conjurings CAMP COLD BROOK provides some fun in watching its characters uncover the mystery within but, at the end of the day, it still reads like a predictable tale." Rated: 5/10 Feb 17, 2020 Full Review Matt Donato Flickering Myth Camp Cold Brook left me feeling just that, disconnected and cold. Rated: 2/5 Feb 17, 2020 Full Review Peter Sobczynski eFilmCritic.com Alas, the only thing that Camp Cold Brook has that even vaguely suggests Dante's influence are a couple of mild in-jokes calling back to his filmography. Instead, what we have here is a so-so-supernatural thriller. Feb 14, 2020 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat Camp Cold Brook is well-acted, intensely edited, and manages to make both slashers and found footage/ ghost hunting tales interesting again. Rated: 7.5/10 Feb 13, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Jeffrey P Slightly more entertaining than reality shows dealing with ghosts and ghost hunting. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/26/23 Full Review Jeanne E I put on random horror movies while I do computer work at home and sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised. I thought, "CMM and Danielle Harris? Awesome!" Nope, not here! On top of the terrible camera work and special effects, the ending was a huge disappointment. Conclusion? Only good for background noise. Othereise, don't waste your time with this one. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/13/23 Full Review kerry w Rating: 4|10. 45|100 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review jon c Reality tv is a small niche now for tv viewers but there's only so much to cover when it's not popular, scary or convincing anymore Then comes along the Camp Cold Brook house Camp Cold Brook is supposedly haunted In 1990 the local church shut it down and no newspapers were allowed to write about it because of something ominous that happened Chad Michael Murray is a successful horror reality show producer, Jack with a wife and two daughters He's always had a fascination with ghosts yet he has yet to see one for real Currently Jack is on his show's third season but he and his crew need something concrete to secure their success if they want to stay on the air That's where Camp Cold Brook comes in; seems like the perfect opportunity for Jack and his camera crew to get the appropriate amount of shocks, after all a mass murder took place 20 years ago on the property But as soon as the cameras start rolling the real hauntings take hold This is a combination of found footage and actual film Thankfully the video camera footage isn't that annoying shaky cam gimmick that give viewers motion sickness Ironically the film itself relies more on hand-held techniques This acts as a switch of sorts which is kinda cool There's a good amount of mood and atmosphere in this and some jolting music to heighten the intensity The final act reveals a big secret which I admit was pretty smart and the ending delivers quite the shocker of an ending Definitely makes this type of horror genre interesting again even if it's lacking much originality Murray and Harris are very-well acted and this pacing is solid Not groundbreaking in terms of slashers, witchcraft or found footage storytelling but still spooky Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Cheap scares, just another B rated cookie cutter horror film Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/18/21 Full Review Audience Member This was a surprisingly good movie. Well made and with decent performances, I found it to be a fun little flick with some actual scares to its credit. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/03/21 Full Review Read all reviews
