Audience Member Great story about former NASCAR champion and nice bit of acting by lead actor Bradley Weber and the rest of the cast. Nice independent feature film glad the story was brought to the big screen. Great tribute to Alan! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm not a big race fan but I love indie films and this one was more to the heart than production value. I really felt something tangible when the hero died and I didn't even know who he was. I like what the director and crew did with this one despite the obvious lack of budget--kind of like the driver in the film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Good indie film which my race fan friends really enjoyed. Did some research and saw that the biographer for the racer said the film was amazingly accurate. Lead character looks a lot like Kulwicki and was okay. The "Deke" character gave the best performance in the film and the crew chief was good. Based on the credits, many people played themselves in the film. Authentic yes, but the performances weren't great. Massive number of locations for an indie film to try and conquer. Great story, great music, good directing, average overall acting, moving and emotional ending. I would suggest this movie to any race fan friend of mine. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Very nice indie film about a racing icon. Obviously, a low-budget film but it told a good story and did it well. Some solid performances (Deke stands out) and the lead actor did a good job with Kulwicki's weird little affectations. Good visuals for an low-budget indie and the storyline is neatly woven by the director. Enormous amount of locations. Saw it with a group of non-racefans and many of them cried at the end. Nice tribute. Wish it had a bigger budget. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
