David Parkinson Radio Times Flickers of macabre wit pierce the melancholic pall, while there's an undeniable poignancy to the well-judged dénouement. Rated: 3/5 Aug 17, 2024 Full Review Lindsay Traves Nightmarish Conjurings While the film ultimately doesn't bring too much new to the zombie genre, it is an enjoyable watch fit for the Sunday evening zombie film craving. Jan 28, 2021 Full Review Alex Saveliev Film Threat Deadsight is ultimately nothing exceptional, proving again that it will take a true cinematic genius to resuscitate the zombie genre. Rated: 5/10 Aug 14, 2019 Full Review Matt Donato Flickering Myth It's an undead flick void of reinvigorated vision - meant both literally and figuratively in this case. David W I love a great zombie movie but sadly this was not a great zombie movie. The lore (the very little that there is) was internally inconsistent which is always a red flag issue for me in this genre. Most zombies brainlessly amble like they were on a Sunday afternoon walk but when called for by the inconsistent script they inexplicably seem suddenly dextrous and able to sprint like athletes, for no good reason. The movie as a whole though is too slowly paced to maintain interest throughout it's runtime despite the best efforts of the two lead actors. That's not to say it was a terrible film, there were some good moments and the premise is at least interesting and trying to do something different. There was a good movie in here trying to get out but sadly it wasn't quite able to surface. The two leads both do well in their roles (Adam Seybold especially) but the direction, editing and script needed some serious tuning. The ending really needed more thought as well. The film just didn't seem to go anywhere. In fairness, the root of the problems were obviously budgetary to some degree which forced the directors choices. Not an absolutely terrible film but certainly not a great of the zombie genre. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Dead sight 19.2.21 3.5/0. It was ok. Read some of my good book. D.B. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie sucked! The zombies were inconsistent and they literally followed the characters when they weren't in sight or even remotely close. The back story is that they don't have a back story but at the same time they do. They are pretty vague about the whole thing. Some zombies are slow and can't do anything and other zombie are breaking through windows and super fast. 10/10 I wouldn't recommend to a friend Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member It deserves recognition. The movie theme isn't new and we've seen enough of it. But I think it's good to look at something. Good suspenseful atmosphere and good shades of gray. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Extremely slow paced, that led nowhere and extremely unoriginal. The "story" could've been written by a 12 year-old, that was day dreaming. It was basically Bird Box, but WAY worse, with a budget of what seemed like £1000 AT MOST. But the thing that annoyed me the most, by farm, is how they find all these very handy weapons. They find an axe, it's used once to kill a zombie and then they just leave it, leaving themselves vulnerable. Then a shovel, same outcome, used once and then unarmed again, then a machete, then a gun, all the same outcome. This MUST have been done on purpose, just to let you know they're always vulnerable. Very poorly written. And this is comiing from a guy, who can't write and loves zombie films. Don't waste your time. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Nada, muy aburrida. No aporta nada al genero Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
