Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Devdas story's darker/modern version. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review yash b "Dev D" gets points for being a very unique movie in terms of Bollywood standards. The visual style this movie has kept me interested, even when the story didn't. I liked aspects of the story but there were many times where it dragged for me. I thought the characters felt real and the performances are very authentic. It is definitely a slow-paced movie that is also pretty bleak. Despite pacing issues, the movie gets props for its different style and realistic vibe. The movie definitely isn't for everyone, but I think it has a few pros that make it worth checking out. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I love Anurag Kashyap because he is a risk taker and we clearly don't have enough of them in Indian cinema. Sadly, this time the risk does not pay off. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
