Helaina h "Everfall" is a TOTAL flop. It does not work as a horror flick, a figure skating movie - or as anything, really. The filmmakers must have spent all of a whopping ten bucks on the special effects, and that's if they bought more than l can of spray paint fot the "fire" stains on the rink walks.- (Industrial Light & Magic must've been too busy or too expensive). Having a cute kid pop out and whisper This Is The Room Where The Bad Things Happen!!! arouses terror in no one. The storyline is predictable, and having a cute kid appear every ten minutes or so to tell the cast "that's where the Bad Things happen" does not a Jump Scare make. The writers knew zilch about figure skating. "The Death Spiral, the most dangerous move in pair skating!" NAHH! Wrong! Death Spirals are NOT dangerous (that would be the lifts, dummies!) and the skating that is shown is nowhere near world-class. Oh, and ice rinks don't offer individual dressing rooms. Rent "The Crawling Hand" or "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" instead. They're scarier than "Everfall." Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Convoluted storyline but with some believable performances from the young cast. I thought the movie was well acted Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/22 Full Review Audience Member "Everfall" flops all around: it is not interesting as a sports or figure skating film and is laughable as a horror movie! The director tries to build suspense by flipping from scene to scene, but this turns the plot (such as it is) into even more of an incoherent mess. The predictable storyline doesn't scare us or make us care about the uninteresting characters. The "special effects" must have cost all of their twenty-buck-budget; "smokestains" spray-painted on the wall, and cartoonish flames when the rink burns. I guess Industrial Light & Magic was busy. The writers knew nothing about figure skating. "The Death Spiral, the most difficult (not even close) and dangerous (absolutely not - LIFTS are the most dangerous) element in pair skating??? PLEASE! Learn about a sport if you want to attract its fans as viewers! As for the fear factor - having a cute little girl pop out and ominously tell you this is where bad things happen won't bring a thrill or chill. Skip "Everfall" even if you're really bored. You'll have more fun counting the popcorn kernels in your bowl. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Horrible movie, plot made no sense and I couldn't wait for it to just..:be...over . I wish I could UN-see it as a matter of fact. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful and extremely boring Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, COULDN'T WAIT FOR THIS ONE TO END. ALMOST SHUT IT OFF BUT I TOUGHED IT OUT. HORRIBLE ACTING AND A SUPER BORING STORYLINE, NOTHING FUN OR GOOD ABOUT THIS ONE. I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS OR HALF A STAR BUT ONE STAR IS MY WORST RATING. WELP I WILL NEVER WATCH THIS MOVIE AGAIN LOL Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
