Daniel J I don't understand how this movie can possibly have a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. The CGI is awful, the screenplay simply boring. Unless you enjoy watching a movie practically entirely in a video chat. Got maybe 90%, I didn't even finish it, just didn't care enough to see the ending. Or rather I guess I did, but didn't care enough to pay attention. The acting was the only thing that almost carried the movie, but well known actor Keith David must have been desperate for a small paycheck to take on this role. I can't even say he played that role well, it just felt completely fake. How on earth this movie is past a 2.5/3 on IMDB is beyond me. Just awful. I've never even written a movie review before, but seeing this having 100% is criminal and I had to take out the time to warn others. If you want to fall asleep, watch this movie. If you enjoy torturing your intellect, watch this movie. If you enjoy movies with zero jump scares, or like enjoy " diet horror " , watch this movie. I can not express enough how bad this movie is, and I hate to say it cause I truly think the cast did their best. Anyways- save yourself the hour and 20 minutes and watch literally anything else. The acting is superb. Keith David is brilliant. Bruce Davison, wonderful. And Selena Anduze...just about stole the film for me. What a talent. The film has pretty much everything you want in this genre. Plot twists, the scarry as hell bad guy, (amazing sound production, and special effects), and of course, all those great moments of gore and horror. It's a "gotta see it" thing. Don't wait!!
