Audience Member I actually found the movie to be pretty good. It wasn't superb or anything. The acting was nothing to write home about(save for the Steward). I honestly think it was a good movie for the time it first came out for a sci-fi original considering they came out with some really bad movies. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was total crap. Plot was lame. CGI was horrible. Acting was on par with low budget porn video. I do not recommend. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Correct- it's undoubtedly bad. But there were a few good in the bad. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm starting to hate the ending to these SyFy films. Nobody learns a lesson or the story is repeated for another reason. This was a film back from the Sci-Fi days and as a result, it's actually pretty decent, if not still dragged out... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Ghost Voyage (James Oxford, 2008) Another deeply silly Sci-Fi Original Movie, though not as thoroughly horrid as some I've watched recently. Seven people wake up on a freighter in the middle of the ocean, with no one around to tell them what's going on save a mysterious steward (The Art of War's Hiroyuki Tagawa). One of them is Michael, a race car mechanic, played by Antonio Sabato, Jr. Do you need to know anything more than that? Well, if you do, there are some attractive women, there are a few subplots with various characters trying to off other characters, there are some rules the passengers need to follow (and if they don't, there are some pretty special effects to bump them off in creative ways), and they all have to figure out why they're on this boat and where they're going. And yeah, just by reading the description, you've probably already figured it out. James Oxford's direction is competent, the CGI isn't completely terrible, the acting (on the other hand) is completely terrible. It's your basic Sci-Fi Channel Original Movie. In other words, a good way to kill an hour and a half, but nothing more than that. ** Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Terrible acting and effects. Just TERRIBLE. But...the story was pretty good. It was also entertaining enough to keep me awake. However, it was a terribly bad movie, But I liked it.
