      Audience Member decently entertaining Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Hibernatus is yet another comedic gem from Louis de Funes who displays his comedic genius in this classic comedy. The story is great and quite silly. French comedies are quite different and rely more on wit than on-screen gags. This is what makes these films worth seeing. Funes as usual is hilarious and he delivers a comical tour de force performance that is sure to delight fans of the genre. If you're looking for a great French comedy, then this is one that is worth checking out. Hibernatus is a film that ranks up there as one of Louis de Funes' best films and is entertaining from the first shot onwards. The originality of the plot is what keeps you involved as well as Funes' knack for delivery. He is a fine, talented comic and the cast around him are equally good and they all bring something great to the screen. The plot is well thought out and whimsical in terms of comedy and it works well enough to keep you involved from start to finish. What I love the most about French comedies is that they do something totally different from American comedies, they're more interesting in certain ways and the gags are better thought out with people that can actually be funny and act. Hibernatus is a great comedy that if you love Funes' work, you will surely enjoy this film. French comedies don't get any better than this. With effective acting, and well written script, this is a must watch for genre fans looking for another wonderful French comedy that is sure to make them laugh with sharp humor and memorable performances. Da ne bi dozivio preveliki sok, njegovi bliznji rekonstruisu vrijeme u kom je on zivio i likove s kojima je komunicirao. Francuske komedije su najcesce ostro polarizovane - ili su urnebesno smijesne i briljantne kao Andjeli cuvari (jedan od mojih omiljenih citata iz bilo kog filma, EVER: "Pisano je: Prvi ce biti posljednji i posljednji prvi. Imate srece. Vi ste zaista posljednji medju posljednjima.") ili apsolutno nepodnosljivi davezfest i test za zivce kao npr. Erik i Remzi. Hibernatus je izuzetak - dobar i zabavan film (narocito ako podnosite Luja de Fina) ali bez nekog laugh-out-loud humora.
