When his daughter Janet (Virginia Grey) has any problems, dedicated dad Sam "Bigmouth" Smedley (Clem Bevans) immediately rushes to her side to provide whatever aid he can. Discovering that local tycoon Jonathan Smith (Cecil Kellaway) objects to her marrying into his family, Smedley uses a Native American rain dance to invoke a vengeful hurricane -- and it works! Once the storm clouds clear, Smith is gone. But now Smedley is in trouble with the police, who are skeptical of his magical powers.
