Avalon T Great suspenseful movie. I really enjoyed this one. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/03/24 Full Review Regina P Decent film. I felt like the concept could have had better execution. I feel like a guy in Pierce Brosnan's tax bracket would have known better than to go to the police after burglarizing someone. If you make a decision to handle a problem outside of the law, then you stay outside of the law, or have someone else deliver the evidence. Even someone in my tax bracket knows that. I feel like a guy in Pierce Brosnan's tax bracket would not have had to do any of his dirty work himself. It's a decent film, but it tries to paint the uber-wealthy in a way that you just know isn't true. Why was he letting an unvetted guy into his house for service, anyhow? Can you imagine Elon Musk inviting an unvetted stranger into his house to repair something? Rich people don't make these kinds of mistakes. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/14/23 Full Review Steve C Man... the real I.T. people are rolling their eyes so hard the movie's ratings are rolling down toward 9%. Poor Brosnan ... a long fall from his 007 days Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/28/23 Full Review Jeffrey P Plays out like an abbreviated, 21st century techie version of Cape Fear. However, the villain with his soccer mom haircut is no Max Cady, and I couldn't take him seriously and just knew their would be no twist with him winning in the end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/25/22 Full Review Audience Member The rating star is for the brilliant and sadly late Michael Nyquist in the small but important supporting role as an I.T. and surveillance expert. He is the only one who comes out of this turkey with true honor. The rest of the basic characters are over the top, and James Frecheville as the psycho villain is a parody.
