Murray D
A poor to reasonable script however poorly acted by almost everyone… the writers of Angus Macfadens character made him out to be, at best, incompetent & lacking any sort of logical thought processes….. sit through this one if you have some time to kill otherwise move on to something else. the production quality was the films best feature.

This is one of those movies that would never make it to Oscar nomination. But the story itself is interesting enough to raise some questions about the motives of the construction industry in dealing with what seems to be "natural disasters". In this movie, the so-called natural disasters were actually man-made. And these disasters were created by the same corporations that would stand to benefit from billions of dollars from US government for the construction of "Sea Wall" it wants to build. This corporation effectively killed thousands of people and created massive destruction just so they could get billions of dollars from the US government. Sounds familiar?

The lead actor has the charisma of a potato & I felt I was being talked to death after the first tsunami. Do not waste your lifespan on this tripe.

Massive waves are hitting the eastern coastline of USA, and the best men and women to explain this are pulled together to find an answer - some of them less willingly than the others. In the end it seems that the waves are man-made, which raises a lot of questions: who would do this, and why?
From this starts a paranoid run to find out who is responsible - and who is framing John Adams, a man who wanted nothing to do with these events, but who is pulled in nonetheless, forced to fight for his survival.
Not a whole lot of waves-destroying-cities action is shown. Only the devastation that follows. In the end, the focus is more on the search for truth and running from FBI agents and assassins than watching hundreds of people die and cities being smashed into pieces.
The special effects were nothing overwhelming, but they did their job. The characters were okay, but the acting was just as medium quality as the rest of this TV-movie. Not a bad one. Mediocre in all ways, and entertaining.
