Steve D Surprisingly strong with a great cast. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/24 Full Review Tom M Bogart is great in this story of man posing (hiding) as a priest in a post WW2 village. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/21 Full Review Audience Member Not that great of a movie. I hate to give this movie such a low rating cause I'm a big Bogart fan. However, I calls them as I sees em. (A Bogart line) lol. Bogarts heath was failing at this point and it shows. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Too uninspired to count for much. but marks the big screen return of gene tierney Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member An American mercenary escapes the employ of a Chinese warlord disguised as a priest. In a mountain village he is accepted by missionaries. The movie doesn't develop the conflict between Bogart and the warlord or how playing the role of priest affects him or the village. The result is that the climax of both stories feels flat and undeserved. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Entertaining drama and good setting in old Chinese village. I enjoy such movies. Well said by someone in their review - the story instills a sense of duty over personal goals. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
