Kevin Wight The Wee Review As far removed from standard martial arts action fare as it is possible to be while remaining within the genre. It is quite possibly Sammo Hung's finest. Rated: 4 Jul 22, 2021 Full Review Brian Webster Apollo Guide A goofy, silly over-the-top movie and also plain good fun. An excellent introduction to martial arts for those who haven't gained an appreciation for the genre. Kenneth K After almost forty years of never watching this film, I just realized the cast is without doubt the BEST collection of martials arts in one film for the entire decade, if not decades. These were the best of the best cinematic action starts from Hong Kong, China, Japan, Australia and America. Just look at that cast. This is some of the most incredible fight scenes sans Chan for that time. Sammo put work into these fight scenes. I only discovered this in someone's edited fight clip. I am really going to sit down with this movie and enjoy. I am already sweating watching this short youtube clip. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Frenetic mix of western, kung fu and comedy genres doesn't always work, but it certainly tries hard enough. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Yuen Biao jumping off a third story roof is just the beginning of the amazing stuff you will see in this movie. I cannot recommend this enough, Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Some of the best fight choreography I've ever seen paired with some great slapstick comedy. Difficult to follow at times, but the fight scenes and eccentric characters more than make up for it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member (***): A strangely entertaining martial arts/comedy film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty good action, although there isn't as much of it as I would've liked. Weaved the plotlines really well.
