Audience Member it was okay, for a side flick. although not THAT appealing Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I really regret not seeing the first half of this movie, but I saw it yesterday late at night. It had its sad moments, but it was a really good positive film overall, plus with a good ending. It was so interesting, that I stayed up to 3am to finish watching it lol. This move shows that it's important to never give up on your dreams, and you are, who you truly are. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Yes!!!!! Another one written by, directed by, produced by and starring Native Americans. This movie is such a breath of fresh air! Finally a movie that breaks the chains of confined story-lines and stereotypes! It confronts the issues that Natives are facing, yes; it has something to say- but it's not all about that. It has Native culture included (always wonderful to see!) but again, it's not just about that. Many films about, or involving, Native Americans are usually so much about the political aspects or cultural aspects surrounding Native Americans- not to say I don't appreciate touching on those things- by all means, I do! However, it was so interesting to see a story that didn't take either of those directions, entirely, and instead- is just a story about a family. A family who, like many families has hopes, dreams and aspirations; one who has their fair share of ups and downs, but get through it with the support of eachother. With this film, finally everything is not so black and white. So many other realms of the portrayal of a Native person are opened up and explored! It's just so truly refreshing, and finally up-to-date, and what I feel to be very real and honest. I was so surprised (in a good way) at so many of the aspects of this film. I wish I could express myself better, I wish I could say even more about this wonderful movie- but people must go out and just find this movie and watch it for themselves. It's just... simply fantastic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member like native amer indian hannah & her sisters. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member AMAZING MOVIE! Here's an interesting film about the lives of three Native American sisters. Their bond is tested from personal struggles to social aspects. Their relationship is strengthened within their friendship as well. Great cast!! A must-see!
