Tim R No. Really. Don't do it. If there is ANYTHING else you can do - Washing the cat; Pulling your own teeth; Donating a kidney, do it. But don't waste your time with this rubbish. If you do make the mistake of falling for it, you will, I promise you, want to hang for the seriously annoying Josh Peck character who talks as if he has gum stuck in his throat and puts the rebel army at risk to save his blonde girlfriend. Yes, that is as sophisticated as it gets. You have been warned. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/20/24 Full Review Joseph C I only really enjoy it up until they finish training with Jed. After that the movie doesn't interest me. I'm already biased because I don't like the fact they remade Red Dawn in the first place. It would have been better if China was the big invading force instead of North Korea. Because you know it wasn't realistic when they still had to have the Russians assisting the Koreans in the movie. Like I said, the scenes when you see them first arm up with the lever actions and bolt actions, I actually like that because they use what they have until they can get better guns. But after they start taking down Korean soldiers it loses a lot of appeal. Probably because of the unnecessary tension between Jed and Matt. And Matt trying to save his girlfriend. I didn't like how they make Jed and Matts relationship strained in the movie.
