Josh A Ah, Sadako 3D 2. I'm not sure why this was made: they should've made an adaptation of Loop or Tide (3rd and 6th books in the series and the only 2 they hadn't done by that point, they still haven't done Loop sadly but they did Tide via Sadako 2019) instead of a sequel to Sadako 3D, a film that was not very popular. However, this was actually a decent movie. Yes, it could be boring at times and there were a lot of jumpscares (not a big jumpscare fan, they can be used well but mostly are just fast food horror, not much substance). But it develops the story of Sadako 3D well and has an emotional core to it that 3D 1 was lacking. Also, it had some very tense moments e.g. Fuko hiding under the bed. That had me on the edge of my seat. Also the twist at the end was insane. Overall, decent movie. Next up, Sadako! Not Sadako 3D, Sadako 2019, where Hideo Nakata returns to make what basically seems like a legacy sequel to Ring 2. Yep, it gets confusing. There's many Sadako movies. It helps distance them from the Ring films, but it gets complicated eventually. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review Audience Member Not going to say it's perfect, but you always know what to expect with this series and I found plenty to enjoy. Creepy kid, black hair, well, scares. All here! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Although it's Much Consistent Than Sadako 3D, Sadako 3D 2 Doesn't shows Sadako in the Movie, The Film is Filled with Jumpscares, The Acting is Still Bad The Plot is Unoriginal, that's why it's another movie for the Squeamish Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Despite lots of cheap scares, this film is well-paced with twist ending and some great 3D effect making it a big improvement from the first CG overload film [B-] Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
