Audience Member It runs like a Vaudeville show with a bunch of novelty acts mixed with comedians. The plot is so slight that at times the viewer may feel that it is non-existant. Still good clean fun though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member W.C. Fields doesn't appear until about halfway through, but he absolutely steals the show as a bumbling sheriff which is definitely worth it. George Burns as the somewhat straight-man to Gracie Allen is also fun to watch, but it is a dated comedy film with a story unfulfilled by the end of the movie. But there is the sexual inuendo and also the sex jokes that were fine just before the Hayes code made that all go out for a while.... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member The comedy in this movie isn't very funny, and some of the scenes are way too long, which makes it worse. Burns and Allen are pretty funny for most of the movie, but they get pushed aside by Fields. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Hilarious road-movie/ farce with George Burns, Gracie Allen, and an especially hilarious W.C. Fields. It has Fields famous pool playing bit and Allen's surreal, stupid, one-liners are totally brilliant. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Hilarious little forgotten gem of a road trip movie. This little B-movie has a funny likeable cast (George Burns, Gracie Allen, W.C. Fields, Charles Ruggles) and some pretty funny situations. Love the dog. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
