Elijah B shot and feels like a 90's movie or early 2000's movie Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/24 Full Review sam w The fight scenes are entertaining slapstick and martial arts, the goofy and silly fun that we've come to love from Chan's movies, but everything else between these scenes is poor. The plot and characters are weak, the acting is nothing special and the series of hijinks they get caught up in become more and more silly and disjointed and irrelevant as the film progresses. There is some interesting bits on modern Mongolian culture and other eastern traditions as well as some stunning scenery, but the combination of eastern and western styles doesn't last and the ending was terribly cheesy. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Nick M I enjoyed the movie. Not the best but Knoxville and Jackie kept me in it. Longer than needed Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/07/22 Full Review Podcast in Crime ! When your captain says "you're too close to this one", he is worried about a case like this. Benny Black has his heart in the case, but a great detective knows how to take a step back. Good movie, bad cops. Benny needs to turn in his badge and gun. Case Closed Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/27/22 Full Review Audience Member This movie made my eyes bleed Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A film with a classic and interesting story idea. However, the intense use of clichés makes the film very easy to get the characters' acts out. From a technical point of view, the film lacks low quality special effects. So it's a movie you can watch and enjoy. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Nick Allen RogerEbert.com Even if Chan no longer wants to put his life at risk as a martial arts Buster Keaton, he still has the ability to turn a joke and get a gasp out of an action sequence. Rated: 3/4 Sep 2, 2016 Full Review Neil Genzlinger New York Times Mr. Chan has done these unlikely-buddy yarns before, of course - "Shanghai Noon," the "Rush Hour" movies - and sometimes has made the conceit work, but this incarnation lacks originality and spark. Sep 1, 2016 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times All the principals are plenty capable, but this is hardly any of these folks' peak. Aug 31, 2016 Full Review Andrew Todd Birth.Movies.Death. For all the comforts nostalgia might bring to Skiptrace, the film's also a pretty good reminder that the Rush Hour era brought with it its fair share of cringeworthy shit. Sep 1, 2019 Full Review Sameen Amer The Express Tribune (Pakistan) Ultimately, despite its generic storyline and overall ridiculousness, Skiptrace remains surprisingly watchable, mostly because of its affable leads and the steady supply of humour. Rated: 3/5 Mar 14, 2019 Full Review Ed Travis Cinapse The blandness and slapdash feel can't be ignored and the film becomes an interesting experiment signifying little.
