Beth An incredible display of theatrical mastery. The movie was translated almost perfectly to the stage and constantly wowed with the tricks they used to mirror the movie imagery. The acting was incredible, especially the actress playing Yubaba, who had to really belt out some lines. An absolute must-see for fans of the original movie and Ghibli in general. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/12/23 Full Review Victoria This production was like nothing I've ever seen- and I've seen a lot of shows! Fabulous use of puppetry, sets, and music to create scenes that were almost exactly like the beloved movie. Incredible! Please show it again if you can! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/05/23 Full Review Melissa For fans of the movie only I'd say. There were a few times that I laughed and others that were wholesome. It made me want to watch the movie again :) I found it particularly interesting how the doors moved to make it look like they were running along a corridor when they were in fact running from one side to the other. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/04/23 Full Review YumRiver music was amazing, very creative stage changes and costumes. acting was so good-camera captured important angles. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/04/23 Full Review Hey Nonny Mouse Wonderful acting, costumes, choreography, and puppetry bring the beloved characters to life. Mone Kamishiraishi and Romi Park are outstanding as Chihiro and Yubaba/Zeniba. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/23 Full Review LadyStarlight It was just as magical as the original, with several laugh out loud moment. I really enjoyed the new musical numbers that added a nice sense of whimsy. My only complaint was the fact that is was unnecessarily loud and that seems to be a reoccurring theme with other reviews I have seen. I really hope they do a release of this so I can watch it again and again. I was a great time with friends. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews
