Andrew Barker Variety Tonal consistency is clearly not high on Krentz's agenda, and the film flits between gritty urban drama, supernatural fable, inspirational sports pic, romantic comedy and kitchen-sink domestic melodrama, with dizzying speed. Sep 28, 2009 Full Review Kevin C. Johnson St. Louis Post-Dispatch Young director-writer Krentz, a self-taught student of film who interned at the Sundance Institute, knows what goes into making a movie, and it shows all over the screen. Aug 27, 2009 Full Review Robert W. Butler Kansas City Star That Krentz keeps all these balls in the air for as long as he does is little short of amazing. There's nothing wrong with this filmmaker that a bit of maturing can't rectify; with any luck we'll be seeing much more from Matt Krentz. Rated: 2.5/4 Nov 12, 2009 Full Review Michael Dequina TheMovieReport.com Feels fresh, through the all too rarely used cinematic tool of understatement.
