Audience Member “Is that how fragile love is? All at once everything? All at once nothing?” - David Hemmings David Hemmings and Samantha Eggers are perfectly cast and convincing in their roles. The direction by Eric Till is fine as well. The majority of the film is bland and forgettable but there are a few really deep moments that elevate the thing from pure mediocrity to moderate mediocrity. The opening sequence, in which Eggers gets on a train as the opening credits role, is one such deep moment. Director Till allows for the actress to breathe and fill out her character in this moment and in other memerable moments (including the ending in which Till sets several tight closeup shots of his two lead performers for the intimate power of their work) Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/17/25 Full Review Read all reviews
