Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews A routine expose racketeering melodrama on the corporate structure of the oil industry, that is mildly enjoyable. Rated: B Sep 22, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member It was an good average film noir crime drama, albeit recycled, about how a person's moral compass can spin like a ceiling fan. Good scenes of Hermann Park and the police station at 61 Reisner. Spent an inordinate amount of time filming the inside of Houston International Airport (now Hobby) during the arrival of the hit men from St. Louis. The brass must have really liked the airport's design. It was indeed good looking but worth maybe 30-50% of the the frames used, but it may have been to stretch out what is a somewhat short ~89 minute film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Would have been cool to see Lee J. Cobb in the lead role, but he suffered multiple heart attacks during filming and was replaced by Gene Barry. Barbara Hale surprises as the femme fatale. She's excellent.
