The zombie genre may be fatigued, but this holds it's own. The focus is good but the pacing a bit slow. It did spend a bit too long on the mundane tasks one would inevitably fall into during the start of such an event, but it helped give it a more real vibe and feel. The ending wasn't much of an ending at all.

It's all character and atmosphere, without a great deal of action or all that much of a plot. If a slow character study with zombies is your bag, you very much might like this. If your idea of a great zombie movie is a Resident Evil installment, you're probably not gonna dig it.

Not your typical zombie movie (in a good way!). The character development was so real and made me feel like I was right there with Sam. Giving it 3 stars because I'm unsure if I want to see it again since I like more fast paced movies, but it was still a good watch.
