Repairmen Val McKee (Kevin Bacon) and Earl Bassett (Fred Ward) are tired of their dull lives in the small desert town of Perfection, Nev. But just as the two try to skip town, they happen upon a series of mysterious deaths and a concerned seismologist (Finn Carter) studying unnatural readings below the ground. With the help of an eccentric couple (Reba McEntire, Michael Gross), the group fights for survival against giant, worm-like monsters hungry for human flesh.

Maybe the best part of Tremors is it’s intense focus on the characters instead of the monster. Sure, we see the monster but the focus of every scene is on the characters and getting the audience to empathize with them.

Tremors is an interesting film with some funny comedic moments and heart that these newer films can’t seem to capture anymore. Its story is strange and takes off in a weird way, but it had me interested throughout the whole film. Definitely something worth watching.

Oh boy, I hate this film. I really don’t like Kevin bacon, and did they hire a kid from high school to film this? Camera work was so bad it hurt me and why did they make so many of these movies!? I have better things to do than go on a rant on how this is my least favorite movie. Hopefully I can go the rest of my life without ever thinking about this pile of garbage movie. I HATE TREMORS. 1.9/10
