They killed Burt! What the hell! The one constant in the franchise was Burt is the survivor! Evidently they shot two endings one where he survives and the other dumbass ending they used where he dies. The cast and director didn't want the death, but universal big wigs thought the franchise couldn't go any farther with his character alive. The movie would had been at least a 3 star, but the ending makes it half a star or less.

I'm sure I'm in the minority haha but this is my favourite of the series. Not meant to be serious or deep in any way, just fun to watch. Burt Gummer is the best, and who doesn't love watching graboids explode?

It's not likely to convert anyone who isn't already a fan of this series, but it's good fun and a nice continuation. It was a sweet send off for this long running series.
