This is a very quirky film, with a strong sense of 80s nostalgia. There's quite an emphasis on artificial colours and lighting. I was surprised to find the final scene somewhat touching. I suppose in a way I could relate to the whole aspect of harking back to better, happier times. I can't deny the collector in me felt somewhat jealous of his VHS collection. There are one or two amusing moments but I wouldn't call it an all-out comedy film as such. If you like quirky, indie world cinema, then I would recommend this film, yes.

Fun-filled and brimming with emotion, romance and comedy that also touches on themes of addiction and loneliness. An unexpected film that showcases the giallo style. Must watch for lovers of the 80s.
