I gotta admit I judged this book by the cover HARD. Glad to say I was dead wrong, pun not intended. Though this movie did not excell in any particular arena, it was generally very well done all around. Also props to them for not going full satire, they genuinely tried to make this a serious film and I respect that. So if you like Maze Runner type movies, or just want a really good movie, look no further. 84/100

Remember seeing the posters for this everywhere in dvd stores as a kid, finally got around to watching it before I turned 19 and boy I should have earlier. For zombie fans there's probably a good handful of movies that you can watch over and over, but they're definitely sparse in recent years. This movie is like a nostalgia capsule in the best way possible, I watched it seven times the week after I saw it. Will always be in my top zombie movie slot now and forever.

I may already have a number one film that is a romantic comedy with zombies (Shaun of the Dead), but Warm Bodies is a lot of fun and charming in an “eat my brains” sort of way.
