Each has a theme that is built around a main guest -- in "New York," for example, Jon Stewart shares memories of living in the city, and Jessica and Phoebe test his pizza knowledge -- plus showcases some of the ladies' favorite stand-up comics. Other guests include Uzo Aduba, Sarah Jessica Parker and Tituss Burgess. The shows are taped in front of a studio audience at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, N.Y. Audience Member Unique show that kept me tuning in for more. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I love these two woman as comedians, but in this show I was bored and often confused. I felt like watching two tipsy people who know each other laugh at a bunch of inside jokes and ignore that there's an audience that might want a bit of effort to the writing. And Jessica, please stop saying "dragging me" 20x an episode. It's making my eye twitch. I love this gals and I love stand up comedy. But I feel this particular effort needed a bit more structure. Too much playful on stage anarchy left me a bit confused and bored. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Hilarious, irreverent, good comedy and a refreshing take. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member not very funny - lots of attitude, but mostly the guests are the ones bringing whatever laughs there are Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Stuart Jeffries Guardian It has taken this show three years to hit British screens, which is a shame. But it's worth catching up with, especially at the moments when funny, clever women such as Michelle Buteau stick it to The Man. Jan 14, 2021 Full Review Carly Mallenbaum USA Today In the four stand-up shows, the duo candidly banter onstage, which makes for effective commentary, particularly about race. Jul 15, 2020 Full Review Alison Herman The Ringer 2 Dope Queens goes to show that taking podcasts to the next level might not be so hard after all. Feb 7, 2018 Full Review Andrew Husband Uproxx Williams and Robinson's comedic banter reigns supreme. Jul 15, 2020 Full Review Chelsea Tatham Tampa Bay Times They're two hilarious, raunchy, unapologetic and geeky blerds (black nerds) who are guaranteed to have you in tears by the end of the first episode. Jul 15, 2020 Full Review Lauren Wheeler Black Nerd Problems Their specials, filmed at the historic Kings Theater in Brooklyn and directed by Tig Notaro, bring the live show to the masses who haven't been lucky enough to attend tapings in person.
