Mike Hale New York Times Imaginative, silly (in a good way) and sneakily sophisticated, without the gross-out or suggestive humor that characterizes many children's cartoons aiming for teenage and adult viewers. Sep 24, 2018 Full Review Oliver Sava AV Club Adventure Time transformed into a different beast in season four, delving more deeply into the show's mythology and character relationships to create a series that is as heartwarming and personal as it absurd and colorful. Rated: A Sep 24, 2018 Full Review Mike Lechevallier Slant Magazine Outwardly, the animation hasn't changed dramatically since the show's finely tuned third season, yet instances of decidedly darker, more mature artistic flourishes appear quite often. Rated: 3.5/4 Jul 6, 2018 Full Review Chris Hart What Culture Adventure Time manages to be what many children's cartoons yearn to be... Adult Escapism. Sep 24, 2018 Full Review Charlie Jane Anders io9.com It's rare that any television show gets its hooks into your brain like that, but especially a kid's cartoon. It's kind of nuts. Somehow, Adventure Time has gotten to be better than most live-action TV shows Sep 24, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
