A look inside the chaotic, hopeful and sometimes absurd lives of judges, prosecutors and public defenders as they work with bailiffs, clerks and cops to get justice for the people of Los Angeles amidst a flawed legal process. Among them is newly appointed Judge Lola Carmichael, a highly regarded and impressive deputy district attorney who doesn't intend to sit back on the bench in her new role, but instead leans in, immediately pushing the boundaries and challenging the expectations of what a judge can be.

Caitlin Wyneken Tell-Tale TV The creators, writers, and stars of the series made sure to pack up everything that made it an important, relevant, and relatable drama, and to take it all with them for the move to its new home on OWN. Carol A J I love All Rise and so appreciate its relevance and creativity amidst COVID. It's refreshing and nuanced, choosing not to demonize conservatives or progressives or liberals. One of the few programs demonstrating every day folk navigate complex issues of today's realities. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/12/23 Full Review Morgan I love the show! I think the first two seasons had great vibes. 100% want the show to come back, but season three could have been better. I feel like the focus in the show has shifted, yet the focus is on the drama and not so much character development. The back and fourth with Amy is driving me insane. She needs to make up her mind, though I don't even know why Mark is so madly in love with her, let alone with her after all the lies. The fact she was going to go rip him a new one, when he was upset, about her lies. Nope. Just NOPE, she needs to grow up. I'd love to see more character development with Veronica and following her journey if she lives. I also preferred the show without the more elevated sex scenes. Sex doesn't need to be included to make it interesting. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/06/23 Full Review angela t Before this show was moved to OWN, it had a great deal of potentional. While somewhat lacking, it had all the elements of becomeing a pretty good courtroom procedurial. Once it moved it was more akin to a soap opeta and not a very good one at that. I had such high hopes when it was picked up but have been so diappointed. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review jazmyne w Great show it touch on topic and situation that is happening in today society and on top of that it's a African American judge who taking control of her courtroom standing tall . Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The first two seasons were good. I have high hopes for Season 3, however, the replacement of Todd Williams was unexpected and a little off-putting, but ok, it's just a TV show. The off-camera prat fall in the first act of the episode was completely uncalled for and disrespectful of the character. This is not a comedy show, it is a drama with some comedic elements, but there is serious subject matter. I hope the writers will respect that and that subsequent episodes have a bit more gravitas. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Oof. I tuned in to the first episode of S3 and was more than a little disappointed. I guess the move to OWN meant a much lower budget but it looks cheap. And whoever is encouraging SMissick to be a comedian should stop doing that. The pilot in S1 was one of the best to come along and the rest of S1 was good (and sometimes very good). But holy moly it was just trailed off since then. I'm out.
