      Season 2 – American Dad!

      2006 Comedy Animation List
Reviews 91% 100+ Ratings Audience Score Stan Smith is a CIA agent painfully dedicated to homeland security. His home life includes doting wife Francine, a ditzy housewife, liberal daughter Hayley and socially awkward teenaged son Steve. Also living in the family's Langley Falls, Va., home are Klaus, a goldfish with the brain of an East German Olympic ski jumper, and Roger, an escaped alien from Area 51, who Stan houses in defiance of his employer due to owing Roger a "life debt." Sounds just like the typical American family, right? Maybe not. Read More Read Less Watch on Fandango at Home Premiered Mar 27 Buy Now

David W American Dad's second season delivers more of the familiar but still biting humor we expect from Seth MacFarlane. I would definitely watch this season again. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Audience Member While not as good as Season 1, American Dad! has enough hard hitting jokes to go along with its social commentary and great voice acting for it to still have that Seth Macfarlane spirit without feeling like a PG-13 friendly version of a cutaway-free Family Guy. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Slight improvement over season 1. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Full of smart commentary and the further developed versions of its likable characters, the second season of American Dad is riddled with humor that can be appreciated by any demographic young or old. William Thomas Empire Magazine Family Guy's little brother starts to live up to expectations. Rated: 4/5 Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Scott Collura IGN Movies While MacFarlane and company are always looking to make statements about the world we live in -- sometimes hitting taboo subject matter in the process -- the characters tend to get short shrift and are at best watchable but at worst unpleasant.
