"American Horror Story" was created by the co-creators of "Glee," but the shows have little in common besides that. The show revolves around the Harmons, a family of three, who move from Boston to Los Angeles in order to reconcile past anguish. What the Harmons don't know is that the house they've moved into is haunted. But it's not haunted by Casperesque friendly ghosts -- it's haunted by demonic creatures. The creatures have a history of not only spooking the house's residents but also devouring them. After living in this house, family patriarch and psychiatrist, Ben, may need a shrink of his own.

Kelly McClure Salon.com At this point, you have to stop and wonder why shows and movies about that population so often revolve around torture and murder. Oct 21, 2022 Full Review Brian Lowry CNN.com American Horror Story has hardly been known for its restraint, which made the relative lack of bloody excess in these episodes notable, with less emphasis on the horror than the serial-killer aspect. Oct 20, 2022 Full Review Lina Lecaro LA Weekly/Village Voice The tone here is more serious than we’ve seen from AHS and the cast has some real heavyweights but so far, even the titillating BDSM aesthetic feels old hat. It’s definitely not as intriguing as the promos might suggest. Dec 24, 2022 Full Review EJ Moreno EJ Moreno In one of the best AHS seasons in years, NYC brings reality to its horror with one of the most chilling tales yet. Rated: 3/4 Nov 17, 2022 Full Review John Paul King Washington Blade It’s the kind of vivid and nostalgic period recreation that Murphy’s productions have become famous for... and it’s one of the pleasures of watching the show. Nov 7, 2022 Full Review Cade Taylor Tell-Tale TV The most mesmerizing and enjoyable moments come from the soundtrack and Patti Lupone’s character, Kathy. Holly It was brilliant.. very smart and it made me cry Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/25 Full Review skylar t this was probably the worst season of ahs i have ever seen. the acting was great, but the story line was so boring. this seemed more like a true crime documentary rather than a season of ahs. it was a struggle to even make it through the rest of the season. also sucks that they didn’t keep one original character from previous seasons except billie lourd. and she didn’t have much screen time Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/23/25 Full Review James Bull B I can't give a fair assessment I couldn't make it through all episodes just about 3 of them, it seemed more like a truth crime series not a American horror story series it seemed to focus on naked males eroticism or something just wasn't for me. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/25 Full Review Pinfloy A This is the worst season of all them. It's absolute unadulterated garbage. I couldn't even finish it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/19/24 Full Review Audience Member This is one of the best if not THE best AHS, the story, the scene, the atmosphere, they are all top notch! It brings light to a community that often mistreated. I loved it so much! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review Jinnifer F I really don't know what the heck this season was about.
