When presumed-dead billionaire playboy Oliver Queen returns home to Starling City after five years stranded on a remote island in the Pacific, he hides the ways the experience has changed him. As he reconnects with those closest to him, including his sister, Thea, Oliver appears to be the same wealthy, carefree bachelor they've always known. At night, flanked by his devoted friend, Diggle, Oliver uses his secret persona -- that of a vigilante -- to right societal wrongs and transform the city to its former glory.

David Sexton London Evening Standard A slow and at times meandering affair. May 31, 2018 Full Review Alberto Carlos Espinof It results in a good formula that, because of its excessive usage, became washed up. [Full Review in Spanish] Aug 7, 2019 Full Review David Hogan hoganreviews.co.uk Some great fight scenes and two antagonists that helped carry the season together, but it also had some really stupid character actions and a very familiar core plot thread... Rated: 3/5 Feb 17, 2019 Full Review Andrew Pollard Starburst While this isn't Arrow at its very best, it's still a show that is hugely enjoyable for the most part. Rated: 7/10 Sep 5, 2018 Full Review Brianna Martinez Tell-Tale TV While [some] moments... add to my frustration with how some of the narratives throughout the season play out, it conveys perfectly, yet again, how much Oliver has grown. Wyatt C an intersting season not my fav but this one was fun tho 8/10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/08/24 Full Review Nathaniel L I appreciate the back half of the season. Diaz is an interesting character and his origin story is the best episode of the season Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/11/24 Full Review Clover G Arrow Season 6 Review (7/10): Arrow Season 6 offers a mixed viewing experience, characterized by a narrative that evolves significantly between its first and second halves. With a rating of 7/10, the season's second half stands out as far better than its initial episodes, showcasing improved storytelling and engaging character development. The first half of Season 6 is marked by a somewhat uneven narrative, with pacing issues and plotlines that struggle to gain momentum. The overarching storytelling lacks the cohesiveness and impact seen in previous seasons, resulting in a somewhat disjointed viewing experience. However, the season undergoes a notable shift in its second half, delivering a more focused and compelling narrative that captures the essence of the series' earlier strengths. The improved storytelling and character development in the latter episodes breathe new life into the season, recapturing the attention of viewers and reigniting their investment in the series' overarching plotlines. One of the standout elements of Season 6 is the evolution of key characters, as they navigate personal challenges and confront their inner demons. The season's commitment to character development adds emotional depth to the storytelling, fostering a deeper connection between the audience and the characters as they undergo significant growth and transformation. Additionally, Season 6 introduces a multifaceted antagonist whose motivations and actions drive the season's narrative forward, culminating in a compelling and intense showdown that leaves a lasting impact. The dynamic between the Green Arrow and the season's antagonist adds a layer of tension and complexity to the storytelling, heightening the stakes and engaging viewers with its riveting plot developments. In summary, Arrow Season 6 presents a mixed viewing experience with a rating of 7/10, as the second half of the season surpasses the initial episodes in terms of storytelling quality and character development. While the first half struggles with pacing and narrative cohesion, the season's second half delivers a more focused and compelling narrative that captures the essence of the series' earlier strengths, ultimately leaving a lasting impression on viewers.
