Tom Selleck stars as Frank Reagan, the New York Police Commissioner, and patriarch of the Reagan clan, a multigenerational family of cops. Frank's oldest son is Danny, a seasoned detective and Iraqi War veteran who occasionally uses dubious tactics to solve cases. Daughter Erin, the lone female, is an assistant district attorney. Fresh out of Harvard Law, Jamie is the youngest member and "golden boy" of the family. Jamie gave up a lucrative future in law to continue the family's tradition in police work, and is asked to participate in a secretive investigation that even his father does not know about.

Shar S Very disappointing that they doubled down on the copaganda even after all the massive protests against police brutality Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one of my favorite shows. I love the family interactions and how they always have their each others backs. Very few shows can keep my attention for as many years has this has been on. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member First off I must say that I have been a fan of Blue Bloods for a while, but recent episodes have got my hair in a bunch. Now USA today rubbed me the wrong way when this highly capable and decorated female officer who also happened to be a woman of color, was considered too good to work with the team at 1PP. She had a different take on a situation and was dismissed and removed. From the lens I see it from is that the lone voice of a minority is always dismissed by the majority in charge. Now when the other three disagree with a matter they don't demote or remove anyone, they compromise or the Commissioner makes an executive decision. In the episode Long Last, again an accomplished person of color was just told to kick rocks. Was there no training program he could have been used in the NYPD to help with race relations or because of his yrs of exceptional military skills to help or even give the young officers who are not accustomed to dealing with black and brown people training? The writing seems to suggest insanity, especially when dealing with minorities. "Doing the same thing the same way and expecting a different result." Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This series is just so good. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This show keeps it fresh every week.
