Bob Belcher is a third-generation restaurateur who runs Bob's Burgers with his loving wife and their three children. Bob believes his burgers speak for themselves and isn't afraid to offer a variety of off-beat creations. Bob's wife, Linda, supports his dream but is becoming sick of the slow times, as the restaurant is constantly in danger of going out of business. Despite the challenges, which includes consistent harassment from Linda's ex -- a health inspector -- Bob tries to keep the grill sizzling.

Bill Brioux Toronto Star Much of the charm of the series comes from the childlike silliness of many of the jokes, but the real meat of Bob's Burgers can be found in the characters. Spencer P Despite an animation quality bump, Bob's Burgers tries harder to be as crude and rude as possible, which is just not for me. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/24/23 Full Review Armchair Critic ! In Season 2, Bob's Burgers began to find it's identity as an adult themed animated show with heart. The sibling group is fun and Bob and Linda's strong marriage is great to see. Burgerboss, the episode where Bob gets high on pain killers and hallucinates characters from his favorite vintage video game, was Season 2's best.
