Cantankerous Robert "Granddad" Freeman is the legal guardian of his grandsons, 10-year-old revolutionary Huey and 8-year-old Riley, a product of contemporary rap culture. After moving the family from Chicago's South Side to the safety of suburban Woodcrest -- aka the boondocks -- Granddad hopes to ignore the grandkids and enjoy his golden years in peace. But the kids have different plans, torturing each other and provoking others in the neighborhood. No matter how wild they get, Huey and Riley are no match for the eccentric elderly man.

Five Word R Great writing and timeless humor. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/30/24 Full Review Lila O Ok first of all this is unlike most animation I have seen, though you have to remember this is satire. While they make fun of serious topics and problems they also shed light and perspective on them. They "overly" exaggerate characters making them seem outrageous and stereotypical for a reason. But the creativity and time the animators spent making this possible it's something to be admired. It's definitely something to watch for a laugh and to understand some of the problems of today. But don't take it to seriously it's supposed to be a comedy.
