Norah L Jun 8 I'm coming into this show quite late, but am enjoying it immensly! I never envisioned William Shatner to be as funny as he was on this show. Very subtle, which increases the LOL factor. I absolutely love James Spader's portrayal of ambiguously naughty, while also maintaining some standard of morality. Well done! See more Test T @TestTest1 Dec 28 I watched this on DVD recently. I'd previously watched season 1 and enjoyed it, but not season 2 which has eluded me so far. The good news is, series 3 is even better than the already very good season 1. There are some new characters to meet which is always refreshing, but what appealed most to me was the quality of the writing. The cast are mostly very established, so I'm pretty sure they can all act, but with good scripts here, they really shine. I find the stories facinating, based on an imaginative case load which is never dull, but along side this is the cleverly layed character development which keeps me wanting to watch the next episode. The writers take time to develop the characters of the prosecutors, judges and even the clients as well as the staff of the firm, which makes the whole thing seem so much more relatable, and the comedy is first class. It's a great formula, and has left me hungry to see the other three seasons. Highy recommended.
