Hosted by Amanda Seales, star comedians Kenan Thompson, Jeff Foxworthy and top social media personality Chrissy Teigen judge 40 undiscovered stand-up, variety and sketch comedy acts. The hopeful contestants compete for the biggest laughs as they perform their funniest sets, solo or in groups, live before the studio audience and judges' panel. The winning person or group takes home a grand prize of $250,000 and an invitation to perform at the world's premier international comedy festival, Just For Laughs, in Montreal.

Andy Dehnart Reality Blurred Though I may want more actual competition and less from the production (enough with the fake cheering!), I'm perfectly content with a show that gives talented people a national stage to try to make people laugh. Feb 19, 2020 Full Review Joyce Slaton Common Sense Media OK comedy competition has some language, sex jokes. Rated: 2/5 Jul 17, 2019 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Between the judges and the occasionally-hilarious act, it's a fun summer watch that doesn't have to make you think too hard. chris o A solid version of the talent show format featuring Stand-up, Sketch, Magic & Variety attempts on comedy with mixed results. Some strong performances from experienced comedians make sitting through some of the more one-dimensional performances worthwhile. The addition of magic as a category really feels out of place as even the funniest magicians are not comedians. The judging is a mixed bag as Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Teigan and Jeff Foxworthy try to find new ways to say similar things but I appreciated that the advice provided was positive but practical vs. the hyperbolic 'That performance changed my life' delivery on other talent shows. An entertaining watch but you might be better searching out a new stand up special if you're looking for the next big thing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful! The worse the act is, the louder the judges laugh. Are they on drugs? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member None, and I mean NONE, of the comedy on this show is funny. Ok, I laughed once, so 1/2 star. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful, painful to watch! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Can you do no stars?. Who puts Teigen on a show about comedy. Who puts Teigen on any show. No talent hack Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This is no last comic standing.... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
