Elisabeth Vincentelli New York Times Refreshingly, the agents often fight for art over money, and mostly collaborate rather than indulge in back-stabbing. Sep 11, 2018 Full Review John Doyle Globe and Mail What is striking about the storyline is the sympathy expressed for both the actor and the agent. Mar 5, 2018 Full Review Anne Cohen Refinery29 As it turns out, even cool French girls have to deal with sexism. Nov 2, 2017 Full Review Kathryn Reklis The Christian Century ...the real addictive pleasure comes from the micro-dramas between the main characters, who are both real friends and workplace rivals, alternatively carrying each other's burdens and acting out pent-up frustration... Aug 27, 2021 Full Review Lynden Barber Limelight The series is set in a bustling Paris-based talent agency representing some of the top actors in French film and TV. A perfect excuse, then, to fill weekly guest spots with French actors playing fictionalised versions of themselves. Apr 19, 2021 Full Review John Boland Irish Independent It helps that the storylines are engrossing, that the scripts are witty and that the four central characters are so sharply defined and well played that you're eager to spend time in their company. Phillip J This is the show that every English speaker must watch. No need for an American remake... this version will do just fine. The writing, acting, comedy etc are stellar. I fell in love with. the characters in the first episode. This show has everything. I urge you to get involved. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/25 Full Review Superb!! Magnificent series, wonderful plots and twists, with excellent acting by the main participants and even more by the real life actors playing themselves - everyone must have had a blast "exposing" their supposed flaws. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Fabulous, great characters. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review elidh d Brilliant show. Love the individual characters, the interactions between them, the backstabbing, the twists and turns, the insight into the movie industry, and the highly rated movie stars that came on to either play themselves or make fun of themselves. Every episode of all four seasons was good. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Touching and funny show with lots of stars! I like how it offers me insight into how the film industry works. Bravo! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review jay h I never thought I'd love a French comedy with subtitles, but this show is great. Superb acting, and whoever talks actual actors into playing themselves comically should get one heck of a bonus! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
