Boo E. @Boo.Eastland 5d This is an old school radio drama. Each episode is a mini drama of its own. It was originally a French show that was Americanized and released by AppleTV. The main problems are that every episode is a constant level 9-10 emergency - nearly the entire cast is using a frenzied, worried, and often whiny tone throughout the entire episode. The stories are marred by lots of quick breaks in calls, disjointed interjections with police calls, unrealistic relationship dynamics and over spoon fed details. The visual spinning constantly moving and morphine screensaver background is very distracting. It's hard to sit and follow the words on the screen with all that swirling. It's unnecessary. I have not watched the French version - but I'm gonna give it a try as this was nearly impossible to get through. The tone of the USA version is like watching 24 - that level of chaotic intensity every episode. If you like that - you probably will like this. But for me, that's torture. I didn't mind the lack of visuals, but I felt the story was too esoteric and lacking. I wanted more of a thread between episodes and overarching story, and the episodes just ended abruptly. Didn't get it. See more Acacia M @RT89881858 Aug 31 I was so thrown off when I first started it. I paused halfway through the first episode because I had no idea what I was getting myself into!! I’m not much of a sci-fi person because the stories usually get really dragged out and crazy so I looked up reviews on it and saw it had a very high rating. No one could say exactly what it was about though which left me feeling uncertain. I decided to go for it anyway and I’m ECSTATIC that I did! It soon became addicting and I wanted to know more and more. Reminded me of the Twilight Zone but the stories were more connected in a way. I watched this over the span of two days. Very well done!
