Jessica Lerner TV Fanatic There's a reason this show has been on the air for nine (!!) seasons, and Chicago Fire Season 9 Episode 1 is a prime example why. Rated: 4.7/5 Nov 17, 2020 Full Review Ashley Bissette Sumerel Tell-Tale TV The details are there, but the [premiere] isn't about the pandemic, which I have to say, I appreciate. Instead, we see the changes that have been put in place, and there's an understanding that that's the world we're all living in right now. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 12, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Amanda R At the moment I’m poorly hence watching back to back seasons of CF. I still dislike Severide, because of his arrogance and his behaviour which is appalling towards Kidd (the make her worry then give her love thing is toxic). But I like some of the other characters for example Mouch, Hermann, Brett, Boden, Cruz, etc. and the fire fighting itself is good action. The general stories are good but I find the Severide - Kidd relationship highly toxic and distracting. I am picky though! I Loved it. Really it's the best of all Chicago Fire seasons till now. Mr Wolf really nows what the audience wants. This season has everything: romance, cool actions scenes, comedy, touching moments, good dialogs and writing. Was really amusing from beginning to end. I was worth the long wait.
