Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/02/23 Full Review Max W Community Season 6's conclusion is cause for celebration, much like many outstanding TV shows that maintain their quality despite facing real-life storms. Despite numerous unsatisfactory circumstances, Season 6 of Community remains true to its roots, offering rich emotions and excellent humour. The Greendale community will eventually soar together towards the promised final movie! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/21/23 Full Review GoosetoeLive You don't notice how truly great and entertaining Community is until you watch season 6 and have to sit through shots that go on way too long. Stories that are contrived and just generally a different show. Season 6 is mostly flawed and way too slow episodes with very few good episodes sprinkled in. Liz Shannon Miller indieWire There's no denying that the magic of the early seasons isn't quite there. However, let's be very clear about this: There is much greatness and joy to be found in those 13 episodes. Jan 14, 2019 Full Review Darren Franich Entertainment Weekly It's meta, but one of the best things about Community is how it finds sincere emotion lurking in its self-deconstructive rabbitholes. Jan 14, 2019 Full Review Mike Hale New York Times It looks mighty twee on the page, but as Community fans know, Mr. Harmon has a knack for turning countercultural whimsicality into affecting, fast-paced comedy. He pulls it off again. Jan 14, 2019 Full Review Tony Black Cultural Conversation Community is unique. There has never been a sitcom quite like it. Rated: 4/5 Feb 14, 2021 Full Review Angela L. Harmon The NitPic The last season of Community was really, truly awful. I mean, it crashed and burned. And for a show as self-aware as this one, there's no way it didn't know it. Dec 12, 2019 Full Review Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette There's no obvious evidence of budget cuts in the move to Yahoo, so consider this a positive start for the latest version of Community.
