The S This is a genuine cringefest. I think back to how incredible the first 2 Creepshow movies were and how well written and produced and this is what it all boils down to. Holiday stuff aside, the writing here is absolutely godawdul. Generic, boring, laughable (but not in the ways they intended it to be). What happened to the Creepshow legacy? Does anyone outside the circle jerk even read these so they can tell the writers how incredibly cringy they are? I get there was always some level of tongue in cheek going on with Creepshow but this episode is bonafide shark jumping and makes Creepshow 3 look like a modern day Citizen Kane. And Creepshow 3, well…that's when we all thought it had hit rock bottom. Audience reviews aside, this Shudder iteration is rock bottom for the franchise. Sub-bottom is that's possible. Ick. Someone buy the rights and bring back some genuine talented writers and producers to the Creepshow name.
