An elite squad of FBI profilers analyzes the country's most-twisted criminal minds, anticipating the perpetrators' next moves before they can strike again. Each member of the "mind hunter" team brings his or her expertise to pinpoint predators' motivations and identify emotional triggers to stop them. The core group includes an official profiler who is highly skilled at getting into the minds of criminals, a quirky genius, the former media liaison who manages to adeptly balance family life and the job, and a computer wizard.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

Criminal Minds attempts -- largely unsuccessfully -- to disguise the ordinariness of its standard procedural premise with extra gore and highbrow literary references.

Landen D Top 3 Show for me. What sets it apart from other crime shows is how it shows how they profile the "unsub". Also grow to love the Characters. Great rewatch value as well surprisingly. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/14/25 Full Review Waniya S loved it, garcia is my fav babe! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/04/25 Full Review Sg M watched first episode on friend's recommendation. was enjoyable Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/25/24 Full Review Aloysius M Criminal Minds is the only TV show I feel comfortable with, I watched it from season one to the last and I felt really happy, although sometimes it's sad when I remember that some of the characters are no longer there. :( cracking! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/11/24 Full Review Saoirse E The best crime show ever. So bingeable! Every episode has a group of FBI behaviour analysts and a tech analyst with lots of personality. Throughout the seasons all the characters are involved in a fair share of trauma to build story and character (although some plots were useless). I love everything about this show except for 2 things: 1. One episode something EXTREMELY traumatic would happen and the next episode they are normal, yet the trauma will come back to them episodes later and be resolved in that episode. 2. Reid and JJ. I think we all shipped them a bit in the beginning because the writers (it seemed like at least) were trying to push them together. However, then out of nowhere (I was sooooo shocked), JJ likes Will from one of the cases. They dated, got married, and had kids in like the span of what felt like a year. But then in season 13 and so much in 14 they straight up start putting them together like JJ isn’t married and had kids. They could’ve added a new character for Reid Rather than making JJ be weird for being kind of romantic with Reid. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review babarizam Why this show even exist? it has no logic handling cases which comes under police jurisdiction, plus terrible acting Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
