Renata Sellitti TV Fanatic What's equally compelling as the profiling aspect on a show like Criminal Minds is the personal connection between the characters, and this group has it pitch perfect. John A I guess it's a standard of a long-running TV series to push the envelope more and more, to keep it "fresh". I'm really tired of the envelope being pushed into areas where suspension of disbelief becomes increasingly difficult though. With episode 22 of season 7 it became impossible for me to buy the storyline. (Spoilers.) Rossi makes a deal with a serial killer to save him from execution, let him transfer to a prison he prefers, and enjoy tormenting Rossi on his birthday every year. What do "the people" get in return? The name and location of ONE of his unknown victims bodies per year. He claims that there are 61 bodies out there, so it's unlikely that Rossi and the serial killer will live long enough to get anywhere near all of them. Clearly this is supposed to highlight the personal sacrifice that Rossi is willing to endure to give one family closure per year. To me it just highlights his really poor negotiating skills! Sure, he can give closure, but he's also taking away hope. And 1 out of 61 each year.?!?!? That's just plain stupid! Let the serial killer fry, or at least make a deal that doesn't completely capitulate to a monster. I'm so irritated I need to find something else to watch. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/19/22 Full Review Audience Member That absence of Jareau, the new blondie girl creates a difficult time watching the show, but Emily's story and conflict do help it to be an enjoyable season. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This seasons main story arc was amazing, the plot was great and it made you want to binge watch the whole series.
