Comedian Andrew "Dice" Clay attempts a career resurgence in this semiautobiographical scripted comedy series. Living in the Las Vegas suburbs, he tries to balance living a normal life with trying for a comeback to the glory days when he was at the height of his fame. Now, though, he has other things to worry about, including repaying gambling debts, managing his son's heavy metal band and fending off pumped-up fans. With the show's setting being Las Vegas, it features a bevy of guest stars, including comedian Michael Rapaport, legendary crooner and Vegas mainstay Wayne Newton, and illusionist Criss Angel.

Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald It lacks zip and punch, and it squanders the considerable talents of Natasha Leggero in the thankless, underwritten role of Dice's long-suffering girlfriend. Apr 27, 2020 Full Review Ben Travers IndieWire Similar to Season 1, the series offers a concept that approaches an intriguing idea, but doesn't follow through to the heart of the matter. Audience Member This season is even funnier Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member The mistake many seem to make is the expectation of 10LPM "laughs per minute" belly-laughs instead of just taking the show for what is really is: a heartfelt show about an attempted comeback which feels brutally honest & allows itself to put sincerity ahead of a cheap laugh. Anyone who has been a struggling comic or performer at any point, either pre or post peak will immediately recognize painful moments of truth shared through the main character. Most cannot seem to separate Dice the legend from Dice the character in this show... but if these were the same script with a newcomer in the role, and there was a way to loosen that superficial baggage, many would see this show for what it really is: pretty damn good, honest, and with some genuine laughs during very real moments. There's no need to remake Louie or any other show; allow this show to be itself. - Timmy Daniels Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member The mistake many seem to make is the expectation of 10LPM "laughs per minute" belly-laughs instead of just taking the show for what is really is: a heartfelt show about an attempted comeback which feels brutally honest & allows itself to put sincerity ahead of a cheap laugh.
