Attorney Eli Stone is on the fast track at his prestigious San Francisco law firm until he begins to experience hallucinations. After his neurologist brother, Nathan, assures Eli there is nothing wrong with him, Eli turns for help to a Chinese acupuncturist who comes up with a startling diagnosis: Eli may be a modern-day prophet. Are Eli's hallucinations a product of faith or an undiagnosed medical condition? Whatever the source, they're wreaking havoc on Eli's relationships.

Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe The God-as-do-good-guide theme feels formulaic. Also, too many of the supporting characters are poorly drawn and forgettable Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Alan Sepinwall Newark Star-Ledger Eli is told in one of his visions that "You're one of those people for whom normal is a failure of potential." His series seemed close to reaching its potential last spring, but it's taken a few steps back as the new season begins. Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Robert Bianco USA Today The hope is that those visitors will lead you to discover the weekly joys of this show, one of the few that can unabashedly and unironically talk about faith and a mission-led life. Yet for all that, it's also great fun. Rated: 3/4 Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Kevin Carr 7M Pictures Once you get past the sometimes overbearing and at times very preachy political messages of the episodes of Eli Stone, there's a definite warmth to this series. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette A quality series that's the TV equivalent of comfort food, the emergence of Eli Stone from the Hollywood firmament may qualify as a minor miracle among more cynical viewers. Regardless, the series rewards the faithful and faithless in equal measure. Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Season 2 holds up well delivering on the promise of Season 1. Warning you'll get invested in the characters, so well portrayed by the cast. Episode 12 will leave a lump in your throat re: Eli & his dad. All in all a wonderful treatment on life, judgements we hold, the choices we make and the regret of the path not taken. Again why the hell was this cancelled? So much of the story remains untold. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Just found out about this show. Really enjoyed both season. Too bad it was cancelled. Check it out. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
