This animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Endearingly ignorant Peter and his stay-at-home wife, Lois, reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby who is bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. Brian, the talking dog, keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own issues.

Jason Lieberman IGN Movies It felt like the team running the show were just phoning it in and hoping that the show's previous successes would create some kind of reality distortion effect that would make people think their crappy jokes were actual comedy. Rated: 6/10 Apr 12, 2018 Full Review Eric Hochberger TV Fanatic This time around, the show definitely seemed more self-aware. Rated: 4.5/5 Nov 27, 2013 Full Review Ahsan Haque IGN Movies It's comforting to know that the creative team behind this show still has it in them to churn out some fantastic work if they want to. Ryan M Season 8 of Family Guy is gonna be very great with the Griffins, Joe Swanson, Cleveland Brown, Glenn Quagmire, Neil, Connie, Olivia, Jillian, Patty, Ruth, Esther, Tom and Diane returning but this time the adventures adventures are about crazier. Meg and Chris putting Stewie in a coma, Lois sedusing Meg's boyfriend, 5 part crossover episode of Family Guy, American Dad! and King of the Hill, Stewie, Brian, Peter, Olivia, Connie, Jillian, Joe and Cleveland get into can feud with Chris that he started when Chris Griffin threw beer cans on Peter, Cleveland, Olivia and Jillian's lawn what makes matter he threw cans at Stewie's pre school, Chris's School, Brian, Peter, Joe and Cleveland's job even ruined Diane's rating in April in Quahog. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/24 Full Review StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 23 episodes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review Freedom T Same thing as season 7, just simply split down the middle. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/11/22 Full Review Audience Member Ladies and Gentlemen. Behold the official season that started Family Guy's decline in Quality. Season Fucking 8. This season truly defines everything wrong with Modern Family Guy. The writing, the characters, and the episodes. This season has so many flanderizations such as Peter, Lois, Brian, Meg, and Chris. So many bad episodes such as Brian Griffin's House of Payne, April in Quahog, you name it. The animation is dull and nowhere near as good as in Seasons 1-7. Overall, this is the season when Family Guy died and never would recover. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Yeah another great season Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member None of the later episodes could match the season premiere, "Road to the Multiverse," in quality, but it was still a decent season nonetheless.
