Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Sam B Very entertaining! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Monica M The best thing about getting into a show late is that you can just devour episodes. I was hooked by the end of the first episode and it only got better from there. Solid performances from everyone, especially Billy Bob Thornton, who just stole every scene he was in. Brilliant writing as well and it manages to balance quite a large cast while still having very distinct characters and without feeling like anyone gets lost in the shuffle. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/24 Full Review Max W I loved Billy Bob Thornton's performance as the weird and psychopathic but nonetheless stylish hitman. Martin Freeman as Lester Nygaard was also phenomenal Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/24 Full Review cédric f A perfect season, a perfect tone direct from the movie, a perfect cast and a perfect writing. Gosh, that's juste perfect. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Geordie Gray The Australian The first season in particular is brilliant with Martin Freeman as the gutless Lester Nygaard who is bullied by everyone. Nov 6, 2023 Full Review John Doyle Globe and Mail What you expect is an homage to the story, and it isn't there. What you get is an homage to the tone and setting of the movie, and that's why Fargo works as fine TV. Jun 29, 2020 Full Review Doreen St. Felix New Yorker Noah Hawley's adaptation converts the drollery of the Coen brothers film into a mood much more noirish and grotesque... May 9, 2020 Full Review Nathan Mattise Ars Technica Thematically, existentialism is brought up again and again. Jul 27, 2021 Full Review Randy Dankievitch Processed Media Fargo is an attempt to adapt the sensibilities and quirks of its movie counterpart, while creating some sort of fresh dramatic tension that makes the show worth watching. Rated: B+ Feb 19, 2020 Full Review Gem Seddon SFX Magazine The cast is simply excellent. Who knew that Peter Stormare's assassin could be outdone by Billy Bob Thornton? He steals every scene he's in during the first season. Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
