Jocus R Nothing has ever made me as frustrated as I was watching this season. I almost started crying just thinking about people getting paid to write this. It was so bad I signed up for this site just to write this review. I hate it. I absolutely despise it. If you like it I think you are a stupid person. If you hate it like me, then you understand the world. I am not going to waste anymore time reviewing this atrocity. Rated 0.5/5 Stars •  Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Vid V So much pointless deaths, stupid, meaningless plots. If you know the scavangers have ill intentions towards you, you dont let them camp at your front porch, you kill them all and live happily ever after with your family. Especially when you are waiting for an attack, you just let a van 20 meters from your gates and trucks filled with walkers, worse yet you watch them unload them right in front of your eyes, while you got 10 machine guns and 30 armed People, you blast everything to bits as soon as it is in your sight. I dont know what writers were thinking, and anyone who approved anything that happened in this season should find a job somewhere else, cause that is not for you. Try flipping some hamburger patties, hopefully you dont burn those too👍👍 total flop of a season. Im just glad i managed to watch through that and not having my eyes stuck rolled inside my face, as much as i was cringing. Cause season 5 was an improvement, while season 6 was a treat. There were some great new characters additions, interesting new villains, very tense conflicts and action, and even a great love story between John and June. But after episode 5 (expect episode 10) the rest of the season was absolutely terrible. Madison's death was so forced, stupid, and incredibly ridiculous that it seriously damaged this franchise for the rest of it's run. Also the writing, dialogue of characters, and overall story was so cringey and stupid that it was almost painful to watch. Also, things got very boring. It was just a shame. Shame because the season started off so great and then with the ridiculous death of Madison that was forced by the then new showrunners, got so bad so fast. The beginning of the season and the interaction of new characters is promising and episode 5 is in my opinion the best out of the whole series but damn dose it lose all its steam in the last half to a point of almost unbearable results. I liked the artistic approach to photography and I loved some of the new cast. The plot itself is a bit underwhelming with a bit boring ending. Very noticeable how the production team and direction completely changed and this is basically a reboot of the show. Still watchable and enjoyable.
